Project Proposal: Ào Art, Collaborate with Ohquao page (Revised)

Overview

Design and develop a landing page for Ohquao to attract new artists to collaborate with the brand. The page showcases existing artist partnerships, their work, and makes a compelling case for new artists to join.

The page has three sections:

Hero / Landing Block: First impression, brand statement, and primary call to action
Artist Showcase: 3 featured artists (prominent, with bios and products) + 5 or more additional artists in a secondary layout
CTA (Call-to-Action) Block: Pricing/benefits/commission information, reasons to collaborate, and a link to the application form

This is a bundled project, so design and code delivered together. The final deliverable is a live, static landing page on Sapo.

All page content is static. Updating artist info, images, or text requires editing code directly. There is no content management system (CMS), dashboard, or admin panel.

What's Not Included

Copywriting (Ohquao provides; I handle structure only)
Animations of any kind
Dynamic data from Sapo
Additional pages, ongoing maintenance, or hosting
Photography, video, or asset creation

Process

Timeline

Estimated total: ~8 weeks at ~4 hours/day, 5 days a week. This assumes content and assets arrive on time, if there are delays, we'll just adjust the timeline together.

How We'll Work Together

As we discussed, to keep the timeline efficient and the price friendly, I'll take the lead on major design decisions

Main process:

I present rough sketches at our discovery meeting
We discuss them together, Ohquao picks a broad direction
That direction is locked, I develop it into the full polished design and build it
No formal revision rounds or multiple polished concepts. I'll create the final design and code the live page based on the concept we've chosen.

Ohquao's input:

At discovery: I'll prepare a few directions, and we'll work together to select the one that feels right. This is the part of the process where Ohquao has the most influence, so let's make it count!
Small adjustments after delivery (batched every few working days):
- Tweaking values (padding, font size, margins), keep changes within 20% so they don't break the design
- Shifting colors in shade/tint within the existing palette
- Swapping text or images that fit the existing space
- When in doubt about whether something is a small adjustment or a change, we'll just talk it through before I proceed
Ohquao's is welcomed to add static visual elements (graphics, illustrations, decorative details) to the final page, I'll flag spots where I think extra flourish would look great. We just need to make sure any additions fit the current design and are implementable. (If extra time needed for this, we'll just extend the timeline to keep things flexible.)

To keep things running smoothly, these are outside the scope of this project:

Changing the layout structure or visual direction after it's been locked
Adding new sections, blocks, or functionality
Changes that would break the current layout or require redesigning other elements
Animations or dynamic features
Changing the number of featured/secondary artists
New colors outside the existing palette

A good rule of thumb: if it changes what was designed, it's outside scope. If it changes content within the existing design, it's a small adjustment, happy to help with those!

Add-ons (if needed)

Add-ons are priced at standard rates, as they fall outside the agreed scope.

A significant design change means reworking the design direction after it's been locked. For example, a different layout approach or visual style.
Ideally we won't need it, but the pricing is here for full transparency.

Cancellation

In the unlikely event we need to cancel midway, these fees are here to keep things transparent and fair for both of us.

Next Steps

To get started, I'll need a few things from Ohquao:

Brand assets: logos, fonts, color codes, and any site references or examples Ohquao likes
Artist content: bios, photos, product images/links for all featured artists

Once those are ready:

Review and confirm this proposal
I send the requirements document for Ohquao to fill in
Kickoff meeting
After discovery and direction is locked → first payment (10%)
